DIY Sugar Scrub - Ahhhh......

This is a great scrub to make for the holidays or any time. Change up the essential oil and packaging and have fun! My go to oils for this mix are peppermint, grapefruit and of course the beautiful scent of lavender. Depending on what you are looking for, there are many essential oils and blends out there so be creative. You can even create your own blends - lavender and vanilla for example. This recipe comes from Mama Z.

Makes enough for one 8 ounce jar with wide lid

6 Tablespoons fair trade raw sugar

5 Teaspoons carrier oil *

10-12 drops essential oil

1/4 cup honey

Mix all ingredients right in one 8 ounce jar or in a larger bowl if making more - spoon into jars for gifts or take directly to the shower and enjoy!

*Carrier oil can be any one of the following or a mixture of them - avocado, fractionated coconut oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil or sweet almond oil. Just make sure you tell your recipient which one you used in case of any allergy
